- Evaluates, negotiates and settles Claims in a timely and efficient manner within Company’s policy and relevant authorization limits.
- Collects information and data, investigates accidents / damages, collaborates with experts - partners of the Company and evaluates this information for the purpose of determining the forecasted Claims cost and their further handling.
- Communicates and meets with customers / claimants in order to provide quality service (e.g. explaining insurance coverages, filling out forms and providing guidance on providing information).
- Enters data into the Company's Claims software system and prepares statements and reports for purposes of analysis, control and monitoring of Claims costs.
- Prepares and sends claims notices to the Company's reinsurers.
- Negotiates effectively with third parties for the purpose of timely recovery of amounts on behalf of the Company.

- Bachelor's in Insurance Science, Business Administration, Economics or other related subject or holder of a professional qualification from Chartered Insurance Institute
- Master's degree in any of the above subjects will be considered as an advantage

- At least 5 years experience as a Motor Claims Handler in the Insurance Business.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Critical thinking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time, workload, and multiple tasks.
- Team player with strong collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek & English.
