Reward Programme for Performing Housing Loan Borrowers
Under the new pronomia scheme (the “Scheme”), Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd (the "Bank”) will reward the members of the Scheme holders of housing loans who have been performing in accordance to their repayment schedule, without any arrears as at 30th June 2024 and up to 31st December 2024. The aim is to support performing borrowers (the “Borrowers”), members of the Scheme, who have been affected by the previous interest rate increases of the European Central Bank (the ‘ECB’) and the EURIBOR.

The Bank will reward the members of the Scheme, holders of housing loans, with a variable interest rate referencing the European Central Bank Base Rate (ECBBR) or the EURIBOR and were granted prior to 30th September 2022, based on the criteria mentioned below.

Participants of the Program are customers who: (i) are registered in the pronomia Scheme and assigned to the Gold or Diamond tiers as at 30th November 2024, and (ii) hold housing loans with the following characteristics:
- granted prior to 30th September 2022,
- priced with a variable interest rate referencing the ECBBR or EURIBOR for the period 30th September 2022 to 30th June 2024 (special loan schemes are excluded),
- secured with a mortgage on primary residence, as per the Bank's records as at 30th June 2024,
- were performing as at 30th June 2024.

In addition to the above criteria, all the following conditions must be met:
- all the facilities of the Borrowers have been performing in accordance with their repayment schedule, without any arrears from 30th June 2024 to 31st December 2024,
- all the facilities of the Borrowers have not been subject to any special arrangement for the period 30th September 2022 to 31st December 2024.

Beneficiaries will receive proportionally 25.000 “antamivi” points (equivalent to 250 euro), or 250 euro, if the cash credit reward option is chosen, per 100.000 euro on the average balance of their housing loan during the period 30th June 2024 to 31st December 2024.
Example
The borrower of a housing loan, with a balance of 105.000 euro on 30th June 2024 and 95.000 euro on 31st December 2024 (average balance: 100.000 euro, which is calculated using the loan balance during the six-month period), will receive either 25.000 “antamivi” points worth of 250 euro which can be redeemed for purchases at any merchant participating in the “antamivi” scheme, or 250 euro in cash (as a cash credit to a bank account held with the Bank).
If a loan has more than one borrower, then the reward will be equally distributed to each borrower based on the number of co-borrowers, provided that all the participation criteria and all conditions cited above are met at the borrower level.

The Bank provides to beneficiary Borrowers the option to receive the reward in two ways:
- either in the form of points under the “antamivi” scheme,
- or in the form of a cash credit to a bank account held with the Bank
Beneficiaries can choose their preferred way of receiving the reward through the Internet Banking or the BoC Mobile app, until the 6th of February 2025.
The reward will be provided by the 12th of February 2025.
Ιf you did not have the opportunity to make your option by the 6th of February 2025, you may do so by the 13th of February 2025. The reward will be provided by the 19th of February 2025.
If no action is taken by the 13th of February 2025, the reward will automatically be provided in the form of “antamivi” points, which can be redeemed for future purchases at participating businesses.

All beneficiary Borrowers have been informed by SMS and/or push notification on their mobile app.
