Reward Programme for Performing Housing Loan Borrowers
Under the new pronomia scheme (the “Scheme”), Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd (the "Bank”) will reward the members of the Scheme who are housing loan holders and adhere to their repayment schedules. The aim is to support performing borrowers (the “Borrowers”), members of the Scheme, who have been affected by the previous interest rate increases of the European Central Bank (the ‘ECB’) and the EURIBOR.
The new Reward Programme for Performing Housing Loan Borrowers (the “Programme”) will be available exclusively to customers who are enrolled in the pronomia rewards Scheme.

The Bank will reward the members of the Scheme who have housing loans with variable interest rate referencing the European Central Bank Base Rate (ECBBR) or the EURIBOR and were granted prior to 30th September 2022, based on the criteria mentioned below.

Potentially eligible participants are all housing loan holders, who are registered in pronomia Scheme in the Gold or Diamond tier as of 30th November 2024, whose loans meet all of the following characteristics:
- Granted prior to 30th September 2022,
- Priced at a variable interest rate referencing the ECBBR or EURIBOR for the period 30th September 2022 to 30th June 2024 (certain housing loan categories are excluded),
- Secured with a mortgage on primary residence, as per the Bank's records as of 30th June 2024,
- Performing as at 30th June 2024.

In addition to the participation criteria cited above, all the following conditions must be met:
- all facilities of the Borrowers are performing in accordance with their repayment schedule, without presenting any arrears from 30th June 2024 to 31st December 2024,
- all the facilities of the Borrowers have not and will not be subject to any special arrangement for the period 30th September 2022 to 31st December 2024.

The reward will be given in the form of points under the “antamivi” scheme (Bank of Cyprus Cards Reward Programme).
Provided that all the criteria and conditions mentioned in sections above are met, beneficiaries will receive proportionally 25.000 “antamivi” points (equivalent to €250) per 100.000 euro, on the average balance of their housing loan during the period 30th June 2024 to 31st December 2024.
Example
The borrower of a housing loan which met all of the participation criteria for the Programme, with a balance of 105 thousand euro on 30th June 2024 and 95 thousand euro on 31st December 2024 (average balance: 100 thousand euro, which is calculated using the loan balance during the six-month period), provided that all the conditions cited above will be met, the borrower will receive 25.000 “antamivi” points worth of 250 euro which can be redeemed through purchases at any merchant participating in the “antamivi” scheme.
If a loan has more than one borrower, then the reward will be equally distributed to each borrower based on the number of co-borrowers, provided that all the participation criteria and all conditions cited above are met at the borrower level.

The “antamivi” points for the Programme beneficiaries will be automatically credited to the Borrower’s “antamivi” account, after the end of the six-month period (i.e. after 31st December 2024), provided that all the participation criteria and all conditions as cited above, are met.
