With the new option Freeze/Unfreeze
you can temporarily block it until you find it.
BoC Mobile App
offers you the ability to Freeze or Unfreeze your Card whenever you want and for whatever reason.
The option of Freeze / Unfreeze card is available on BoC Mobile App in the "Cards" tab, under the "Card Management" section.
- In case you have lost your card and you want to temporarily block it it, instead of reporting it lost or stolen.
- When you don’t use your card frequently and for security reasons you want to deactivate it.
- When you use your card exclusively for your online payments and you wish to activate it only before each payment.
- For any other reason
At the moment, this feature is not offered through Internet Banking, but it will be added soon.
- Cash withdrawals
- Online and in-store payments (contactless or not)
- Digital wallet payments, i.e Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Card subscriptions (e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify)
Direct Debits and Standing Orders will not be affected.
