Officer Reporting (Ref. 786)

More information

    • Production of financial statements as well as other reports, such prospectuses, presentations and circulars, in accordance with supervisory guidelines and accounting standards.
    • Prepares and analyzes financial information on a recurring and ad hoc basis for the preparation of management reports and presentations in accordance with management’s instructions.
    • Keeps up to date with developments in relation to international accounting standards (IFRSs) and the standards of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
    • Collaborates with external auditors for the smooth completion of the audit of the financial statements and collaborates with external partners and the auditors on complex accounting issues.
    • Ensures the proper management and updating of the systems used, so as to be aligned with the developments in IFRSs and ESMA requirements.
    • Ensures the correctness of the Group's accounting records by analysing the accounting of important transactions and new products, as well as complex accounting issues, and monitors the implementation of new accounting/reporting and regulatory requirements.
    • Preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports to authorities and provision of support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or post-graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related field from an accredited university.
    • Professional qualification ACA or ACCA.
    • At least 4 years of experience in working in the audit profession (experience in auditing financial services organisations will be considered an advantage) or finance department of a financial institution.
    • Strong knowledge of IFRSs for banking institutions and ESMA requirements for annual financial report of public companies
    • Banking business knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
    • Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a strong affinity to IT.

    • Ability to manage time, workload and multiple tasks.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
    • Resiliency, ability to keep pushing forward and adapting to changing requirements
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in both Greek & English.
