Four awards for Bank of Cyprus at the Digital Finance Awards

The digital experience which Bank of Cyprus offers customers has earned it a place among the best.

During a ceremony at the second Digital Finance Awards, organised by Boussias Greece and held on Wednesday, February 22, Bank of Cyprus received three gold and one silver awards - reconfirming its innovative approach and upgrades to its Digital Bank offerings.

In particular, Bank of Cyprus received a gold award in the following categories:

  • Best Digital Platform for its Jinius - Digital Economy Platform
  • Best Paperless Digital Initiative (ATM processing, e-signature, digital ID, etc.) for its Cheque Deposits through Mobile product
  • Best CRM/ Data Analytics/ Customer-Profiling Initiative for its MoneyFitPersonal Financial Manager

For its BoC Mobile App, the Bank also earned a silver medal in the Best Mobile App category.

These major distinctions mark an acknowledgment of the Bank's ongoing efforts in providing even better customer service and in rounding off the digitisation drive underway within the Bank of Cyprus Group.

Jinius: a novel digital economy platform

Receiving the gold award for the Jinius-Digital Economy Platform was Eleni Meli, Manager Business Development & Operations. The Jinius platform connects the entire Cyprus market to a single digital environment. It is the first digital economy platform in Cyprus, connecting business and individuals to the market. The platform is geared at companies and clients, providing innovative services and tools that digitise, simplify and speed up day-to-day transactions and operations. To date, around 1,500 companies have registered with the platform.

BoC Mobile App: the absolute digital experience

Receiving the remaining awards, related to the Mobile App's innovative services, was Product Manager Petros Nicolaides. By using the Mobile App, Bank of Cyprus customers can quickly and easily make the most of smart solutions in their day-to-day bank transactions. The app's unique design makes its navigation and use a breeze, while also offering a wide range of products and services.
