New Branch Model
We are modernising our branch network combining speed, innovation and a human approach.
Our primary objective remains to improve the quality of service through the specialisation of our staff, the upgrading of our customer base, the promotion of new services and digital products and the integration of new service channels.
The new model consists of four branch types (branches, lending units, transaction branches, digital branches) and has been implemented from January 2025.
In order to provide uninterrupted service to the public through self-service machines (until 10:00 pm), the Bank currently operates 18 points throughout the country.
Branches
- Offer the full range of Bank services for teller transactions and lending
- Life and General Sector Insurance products
- Account opening/management, Personal Data Update, card management, letter of quarantees, payment orders (i.e Standing Orders, Direct Debits, etc.)
- Located in central locations and rural areas for better service
- ATMs, Deposit Machines for use by legal entities (in selected branches)
Lending Units
- Serve individuals, the self-employed and small businesses for loans and account management
- General sector and life insurance products
- Do not offer teller transactions, but provide guidance for banking services
- ATM available
Transaction Branches
- Teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, foreign exchange, etc.)
- Account opening/management, Personal Data Update, card management, letter of quarantees, payment orders (i.e Standing Orders, Direct Debits, etc.)
- Do not offer lending facilities, but provide advice on all banking products
- ATMs, Deposit Machines (for use by legal entities)
Digital Branches
- Unmaned operating branches
- Operate only with self-service machines (ATM, Deposit Machines for use by legal entities)
- Provide services 7 days a week, until 10pm

In order to provide uninterrupted service to the public through self-service machines (until 10:00 pm), the Bank currently operates 18 points throughout the country. These points provide uninterrupted and discreet service to customers (individuals and businesses) via self-service machines, through controlled access with an activated Bank of Cyprus credit/debit card.

The self service machines at these points are:
- ATMs: Deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account balance, account statement printing
- Business Deposits: Deposits of banknotes, coins, cheques using special security envelopes
- Automatic Deposits for Businesses / 360 Notes: Deposits of banknotes by businesses using a special code which is entered into the machine
- Automatic Deposits for Businesses / 360 Coins: Coin deposits by businesses using a special code which is entered into the machine
- Coin Deposits: The value of the coins is counted and a special deposit slip is issued, which is then automatically credited to an account the customer inputs in the machine
- Coin withdrawals: Special machine for automatic withdrawal of coins according to the customer's preferences
