As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme and corporate volunteering efforts, the Bank’s staff supports people in need every Christmas in various ways.

The Bank’s Limassol Regional Management enhances the Pediatric Clinic of the Limassol General Hospital by providing medical equipment for the care of young patients. Bank employees, together with Santa Claus, visit the hospital’s Pediatric Department to distribute gifts to the children who are hospitalized.

Additionally, staff members from the Bank’s Card Centre organize annual volunteer initiatives, such as preparing and offering gifts to children. Furthermore, volunteers from the Risk and Treasury Divisions organize bazaars to support the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinating Council and the Sophia for Children Foundation, respectively.

At the same time, the Bank and its collaborating partners from SupportCY provide essential goods and equipment to children and families through Funraising Foundation, the Pan-Cypriot Organization of Large Families in Nicosia and Paphos, and the Larnaca Soup Kitchen, which provides daily meals to people in need. Vouchers for supermarkets and clothing are also purchased and distributed to schools, to be given to disadvantaged students.
