• Terms & Conditions

  1. All customers (the "Customers")  of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd (the "Bank"), who will perform at least one contactless transaction by tapping either their card (any BoC card), smartphone or smartwatch (through Apple Wallet or Google Wallet), at an ATM of the Bank of Cyprus network of ATMs  will be entered into a draw where 2 winners will get one of the following two gifts each:

  • Apple Watch  Ultra 2, 49mm Titanium Orange Ocean Band
  • Galaxy Watch 5 pro 45mm

  2. Each contactless transaction equals to one participation in the draw. The winner is allowed to receive only one prize.

  3. The Campaign will be valid for the period from 20 June 20, 2024, to 9 September 2024 (with the latter included)

  4. The draw will take place within a period of 14 days from the end date of the Campaign (from campaign end day, i.e., Monday 9^th September 2024), unless otherwise announced by the Bank.

  5. The processing of personal data by the Bank for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR") and the provisions of the Bank's Privacy Statement. In order to further inform participants about the processing of their personal data, their rights and other important information regarding the security and use of their personal data, they should read the Bank's Privacy Statement which is posted on the Bank's official website at the following link https://www.bankofcyprus.com/en-gb/contact_us/privacy-notice/ and at any of its branches.

  6. The individuals who will be the winners of the draw will have to correctly answer a question to receive their prize. By accepting the prize, they commit to participate in Public Relations activities. The Bank reserves the right to publish the names of the winners of the draw, free of charge, provided that the winner does not object.

  7. The Bank will notify by telephone or e-mail the winners of the draw within a period of 15 days from the date of the draw. If one or more of the winners of the prize draw is unable to accept the prize or is prohibited from participating in the draw under the terms hereof or his/her participation in the prize draw is cancelled or the validity of his/her participation is not verified or he/she is excluded from the prize draw, or the Bank is not possible to contact him/her and confirm the final receipt  of the prize the corresponding prize will be allocated to the runner-up winners, in the order of their draw.

  8. Without prejudice to paragraph 7 above, the prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize or gift.

  9. Any customer, being the holder of any of the Bank's accounts and cards is bound by the terms governing the use and operation of such accounts and cards, as well as by any other relevant agreement with the Bank, which is in force from time to time.

  10. The Bank reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Campaign at any time by notifying the New Customers.

  11. The Bank makes no representations and does not provide any guarantees regarding the prizes.

  12. To the extent permitted by law, the Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any person or property that may arise, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the acceptance of the prizes.

  13. By participating in the draw, participants hereby accept that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions of the Campaign and have agreed to be bound by them.

  14. The Bank may, at its discretion, exclude any participation to the prize draw and not allow further participation in the draw to any person who interferes in any way with the participation process or the smooth operation of the draw or who acts in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

  15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Cyprus Law.
